There are a few times in which you may receive an error message when making a payment; after inputting the payment information details or attempting to process the payment. To troubleshoot, we recommend taking the following steps:

Reconfirm the payment information just used and add again to the portal
- Occasionally banks will update their routing numbers - if you are using an old checkbook to verify your routing number through your bank's online portal.
- Re-try your payment with a new payment method
- If a credit card; verify your transaction limit is sufficient and retry your payment once funds have settled
- Contact your bank or card issuer to ensure there is not a block on the payment and/or verify the account information.
