This change reflects our growth as a financial software company for senior living, and we want to make sure the transition feels seamless and stress-free for you. It's the same Sunbound team you know and trust, just with a fresh new web address. We've put together answers to our most common questions below so you know exactly what to expect, and what (very little) you may need to do!
Is This Change Safe & Legitimate?
Is this change legitimate? I'm worried it might be a scam.
This is a completely legitimate update made by Sunbound. Over the next few weeks and months, we will be moving our website and emails from sunboundhomes.com to sunbound.ai - same company, same team, new address. If you ever receive an unexpected message asking for personal or payment information, please call us directly before clicking anything. Sunbound will never ask for your full payment details over email.
Is my personal and payment information still safe after this change?
Yes, absolutely. Sunbound uses data encryption both in transit and at rest to safeguard sensitive information. Once your payment method is entered, it is immediately encrypted so that no one can see the information except for the last 4 digits of your account for identification purposes. The domain change does not affect any of these protections.
Emails & Communications
I got an email from a sunbound.ai address - should I trust it?
Yes! Over the next few months, our emails and correspondence will start coming from @sunbound.ai instead of @sunboundhomes.com. Please update your contacts and add this new address to your safe senders list so our messages don't end up in your spam folder.
I received an email from sunboundhomes.com after the domain change - is it still legitimate?
Yes! While our website is moving to sunbound.ai, some of our emails may continue to come from @sunboundhomes.com for a little while during the transition. Both addresses are safe and genuinely from Sunbound. When in doubt, you can always reach us by phone at (623) 263-9162.
Payments & Billing
Will my autopay or scheduled payments be affected by this change?
No. Sunbound allows you to activate Auto-pay to "set it and forget it." Your autopay settings, payment schedules, and billing information will continue working exactly as before - no action needed on your part.
Do I need to re-enter my payment method?
No. Your saved payment information remains secure and on file. You will not need to re-enter any bank account or card details.
I pay through a link in my email. Will those links still work?
Yes! When you get emails from sunbound.ai, all of your links will work. Even better, the old links you used to use will automatically redirect you to the new sunbound.ai link. So you don’t have to do anything!
Website & Account Access
Do I need a new login or password?
No. Your existing username and password work exactly the same on the new site.
I bookmarked the old website. What do I do?
We recommend updating your bookmark to sunbound.ai. If you visit the old address, it will automatically take you to the right place - but updating the bookmark is a good idea going forward.

Why did Sunbound make this change?
Sunbound is moving away from the “homes” in our old name. When the company was originally founded, the “Sunbound Homes” made sense, but as we have evolved into a financial software company for senior living, the “Homes” piece became a point of confusion for our prospective community clients.
Why is Sunbound moving to a .ai domain?
We moved to a .ai domain to better reflect our focus on using advanced technology to simplify senior living finances. It's the same Sunbound you know - just a new web address.
Does using AI mean Sunbound will collect or share more of my personal data?
NO! Your data is absolutely safe and secure. We are the same company that takes HIPAA and PHI seriously. We just have a new address.
