Transitioning to a new payment platform can sometimes feel daunting, but it doesn't have to be! Whether you're a resident, family member, or loved one this guide will help you navigate setting up and managing payments.
Getting Started
1. Look for an Invitation: You'll receive an email invitation from mailer@sunboundhomes.com to create your account password and log in for the first time. Be sure to check your spam folder!
2. Update your Payment Method: Once logged in, you will need to set up your payment method and preferences. To do so, follow these steps:
- Navigate to “My Account” in the top right-hand corner
- Select “Settings” from the drop down
- Select “Payment Settings”
- Select “Add Payment Method” and add your bank or credit card information. Keep in mind that there may be fees associated with certain payment methods.
- Once complete, be sure to hit “Register” to ensure the payment saves. This account will now be your default payment method.
3. Automatic Payments: Be sure to activate Auto Pay for smooth and timely monthly payments!
4. Manual Payments: If you prefer, you can also make manual payments through the online dashboard each month.
5. Need to split the bill? Go to “My Account”, select “Settings”, and click “Manage Payors” to add another payor to the account. When you receive your first bill by Sunbound, you’ll be able to assign a portion of the bill to your added payors.
I'm missing my invite to set up payments!
If you are a new resident or family and haven’t received an invite via email, be sure to check your SPAM for an email from mailer@sunboundhomes.com.
I was previously set up for automatic payments before my community moved to Sunbound. Do I need to set this up again?
If you were previously paying via check or another online portal, you'll need to ensure you set up your account on the new platform to manage future payments. Some information may be transferred over automatically, so if you are unsure, be sure to log in and confirm.
